Communication

Wow… I am bad at writing blogs… It’s been too long

Also, I hope everyone enjoys this stock photography above thanks to Squarespace!

Standardizing Communication

It was less than 2 years ago when I made an initial post about my walking away from social media (https://hoos.coffee/blog/me-and-technology) and I am still working on myself and on the healthfulness of my connection with people. It’s impossible to keep up with all the various ways of communication that I have had with people in the coffee industry. I get stuff in the post, emails, text messages, phone calls, WhatsApp, etc. It’s hard to keep focused and keep everything on track for me. Some people may be able to deal well with it, I am not one of those people. So, I am making a change.

Starting now, you can only contact me by

  • Email (rob@hoos.coffee)

  • iMessage (+1-937-903-0825)

  • SLACK (if you’re part of my clients group - if you want to join, buy an iteration.coffee boxed set or take a class with me)

I will be sending out information over

That’s it.

My goal in all of this is not to be restrictive, but to be more organized and make sure I am responding to people in a considerate and timely fashion. Please let me know if you have any thoughts… comments… or concerns.

As always, thank you!

Rob
